Falstaff ranks Chazánte among the best non-alcoholic alternatives in DACH
Our three non-alcoholic sparkling teas were awarded at this year's tasting by the gourmet magazine Falstaff. With 93 points for Sencha Épicé, 93 points for Imperial Grey, and 92 points for Oolong Orange, Chazánte is among the highest-rated non-alcoholic sparkling alternatives in the German-speaking world.
Particularly highlighted were the clear aromatics, fine perlage, and complex structure of our cuvées. Falstaff describes Sencha Épicé with notes of ginger, jasmine, and green tea, as well as a "dry, sparkling finish." Imperial Grey impressed with bergamot, floral nuances, and a "very dense perlage." Oolong Orange was praised for its fruity-fresh aromatics, fine acidity, and lively structure.
For us, this rating is particularly significant as Falstaff is one of the most renowned gourmet and wine media in the German-speaking world. For many years, the magazine has been an important reference for wine, gastronomy, and culinary trends, and in addition to classic wines, it increasingly tastes high-quality non-alcoholic alternatives. The awards show that non-alcoholic enjoyment can now be conceived as nuanced, gastronomic, and characterful as wine pairings with alcohol.
With Chazánte, we pursue precisely this ambition: to create non-alcoholic cuvées with structure, depth, and an independent character – designed for aperitifs, dinners, and conscious moments to be shared.
